What is Korean Glass Art?
Korean Glass Art (KGAD) is a modern decorative technique that originated in South Korea and is inspired by traditional stained glass. Instead of glass, it uses lightweight acrylic, coloured films and lead strips, making the creative process accessible to beginners and suitable for all experience levels.
During the workshop, you’ll design and create your own handcrafted decorative artwork to take home.
Where are the workshops held?
Our workshops are primarily held in Dresden, with pop-up workshops available in selected locations across Germany.
We offer two workshop formats: our Home Studio Workshop, perfect for solo participants, couples, and small groups of up to 4 people, and our Partner Store Workshop, designed for private groups of 5 or more participants.
We also organise private events for groups of up to 30 people.
Are workshops suitable for team building?
Yes. Our private workshops are ideal for team-building events, birthdays, creative group outings, and other special occasions.
What is the language of instruction at Miry Project?
The main language is English, however communication in German is also possible.
How many participants are usually in a workshop?
- In the Home Studio, workshops are limited to 4 participants.
- At our partner pop-up locations, we can host groups of 5–10 participants.
- For private events, we welcome groups of up to 30 participants.
Is previous experience required to attend a workshop?
No previous experience is required. The workshops are designed for beginners and anyone interested in exploring Korean-inspired glass art techniques.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All materials and tools needed for the workshop are provided. Just bring your creativity and curiosity.
Bookings
Can I book a workshop for a group?
Yes!
In the home studio, workshops are limited to 4 participants.
At our partner location, we can host groups of 5–10 participants.
For private events, we welcome groups of up to 30 participants.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
For Home Studio workshops, workshop fees are refundable up to 14 days before the workshop start date. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop are non-refundable.
For group workshops at our partner pop-up locations and private events, the deposit is non-refundable. Rescheduling requests for all workshop formats are considered depending on availability.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you expect to be late, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate a short delay, depending on the schedule. However, the workshop end time cannot be extended.
